Rule Changes as of July 14, 2014 Attention Duelists, Please see below for 2 basic rule changes to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME. These rule changes apply to all events and formats as of July 14, 2014. Start of Duel: The player who takes the first turn of a Duel does not conduct a normal draw during their Draw Phase. This means that the player will have continue to have 5 cards in their hand during the opening Turn of the Duel instead of 6. The Super Starter: Space-Time Showdown Beginner's Guide states the following (under 'How a Turn Works'): 'The player who goes first cannot draw during the Draw Phase of their first turn.' Description: Activate only when your opponent draws a card(s). And your opponent draws 1 card. I need help for Appropriate and Dark Bribe. FAST EFFECT TIMING. Draw a card for your normal draw during the Draw Phase. And the opponent waives the chance to activate a fast effect. YGOPRO Forum - Discuss everything related to ygopro. I only can activate my card, if my opponent activate one effect and if I want activate my card. Field Spells: Both players may now control an active Field Spell Card at the same time. If your opponent controls a Field Spell Card at the time that you activate yours, your opponent's card will not be destroyed. ![]() If you wish to replace the Field Spell Card you currently control, you may send your Field Spell to the Graveyard in order to play a new one. The old card is not considered to be destroyed. The Super Starter: Space-Time Showdown Beginner's Guide states the following (under 'Spell & Trap Card Icons'): ' Field - These Spells go in your Field Zone and stay there. Each player can have 1 Field Spell Card on their own side of the field. To use another Field Spell, send your previous one to the Graveyards. Many Field Spell effects apply to BOTH players.' Please familiarise yourself and inform your fellow Duelists about these rule changes, as they will be used in all Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME tournaments from this point forward. ![]() ![]() ![]()
